Halftime thoughts from afar:
Offensively the Chargers, who lead Tennessee 21-10, are doing whatever they want in Tennessee.
The Chargers have scored three touchdowns. A short run by LaDainian Tomlinson, a beautiful long pass from Philip Rivers to hit a wide-open Antonio Gates and a short pass from Rivers to running back Darren Sproles.
San Diego is using this game to showcase its offensive weaponry for the playoffs. Prospective playoff opponents have to be concerned with what the Chargers are doing on offense.
If San Diego holds on to to win this game, it will seal the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and a first-round bye. Friday night’s display shows the rest of conference just how hard the Chargers will be to beat in the postseason.
