With his season over in San Diego, Chargers assistant Rob Chudzinski is getting interest for a promotion.
The Bears are planning to interview Chudzinski for their offensive coordinator job. Chudzinski was the Chargers’ tight ends coach and assistant head coach in 2009. He is a valued asset to San Diego head coach Norv Turner.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chargers sweeten the pot in an attempt to keep Chudzinski with Turner, who just signed a three-year extension to remain with the Chargers.
The Bears have drawn out their search for an offensive coordinator. They have interviewed several candidates.
