Philip Rivers and Norv Turner won’t be working together again this season.

The San Diego Union Tribune is reporting that Rivers is not going to play in the Pro Bowl on Jan. 31 in Miami. The paper said Rivers’ wife is due to give birth soon. Tennessee’s Vince Young will replace Rivers.

Rivers made the team last year as an alternate. However, he opted out because of a minor knee surgery. Rivers has yet to play in the Pro Bowl. He has been voted into the game in two of the four seasons he has been a starter.

Turner will coach the AFC.
