Chambers

Chris Chambers is making progress overseas.

After missing two games with an ankle injury, Chambers practiced Wednesday in England as the Chargers prepare to face New Orleans in London on Sunday.

Chambers practiced on a limited basis. The team is expecting him to improve throughout the week.

Linebacker Jyles Tucker is also on his way back from a hamstring injury that kept him out. Tucker practiced on a limited basis.

Running back LaDainian Tomlinson continued his trend of resting on Wednesdays because of a turf toe that has bothered him all season. San Diego coach Norv Turner said Tomlinson will practice Thursday. Receiver Buster Davis didn't practice Wednesday with a groin injury. He missed Sunday's game at Buffalo.
