Live from the Broncos' facility

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- I’m at the Broncos’ facility and I’m ready for the draft to begin.

As the first round approaches, the word is to watch out for Denver to try to trade down from No. 11 to get more picks and perhaps grab Florida quarterback Tim Tebow late in the first round. Tebow was worked out for the Broncos on Monday.

The Chiefs who have the No. 5 pick, are also a candidate to trade down. San Diego, which picks No. 28, could be a candidate to trade up. Don’t expect Oakland to make a blockbuster trade. The Ben Roethlisberger talks went nowhere and I’ve been told that the Raiders have contacted Darren McFadden and said he will not be dealt.

Still, there will be plenty of action the next three days, beginning within the hour. We’re here and ready to react.
