SAN DIEGO -- The Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers are in the third quarter in what is looking like a San Diego rout in the winner-takes-the AFC West game.
San Diego has won three-straight games and Denver has lost two straight to set up this game.
The Chargers, which has won its last 13 December games, look like the much better team.
San Diego is dictating this game on offense. The Chargers have 252 total offensive yards and they have 16 first downs. The Denver defense hasn't made one big play. The Chargers seem like they can score at any time.
Denver's offense has been ok, but it hasn't been able to erupt and it doesn't look like it will be able to mount a comeback.
As of now, it appears San Diego will host Indianapolis in the wild card round Saturday night and become the first team to start 4-8 and make the playoffs. And it is likely Denver will tie the NFL record for losing a three-game division lead.
