The candidates are:

Break up the Chiefs: Kansas City is 3-0 and is leading the AFC West by two games. They won 10 the past three seasons combined. They are one of three 3-0 teams in the NFL.

McNeill reports: After holding out since the minicamps, San Diego left tackle Marcus McNeill reported to the Chargers despite not getting the long-term deal he desired.

Raiders’ legend dies: George Blanda tied at 83. The former Raiders’ quarterback and kicker played in the NFL for 26 years.
