HONOLULU -- The best part of Pro Bowl week for Denver quarterback Jay Cutler has been mixing with his contemporaries. This is the first trip to the Pro Bowl for Cutler, who just finished his third NFL season, the second as a starter.
This week has given Cutler a chance to get to know veteran quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Kerry Collins, the two other AFC quarterbacks who'll play in Sunday's game. Cutler said he is picking the brains of both players.
"It's a great opportunity to get to know these guys in a pretty relaxed setting," Cutler said. "I've talked to both Peyton and Kerry about how they go about things and it's been really helpful. It's a lot of fun getting to know these guys in such a fun place. It's been a great week."
Cutler does have some familiar faces around him, however. His favorite target, receiver Brandon Marshall, and his center, Casey Wiegmann, are both here and playing in the game. Cutler also has support from other teammates; he brought over receiver Eddie Royal, left tackle Ryan Clady and tight end Tony Scheffler as guests this week.
