Where should Oakland be ranked?
By Bill Williamson
NFC West blogger Mike Sando makes an interesting point as he prepares for ESPN.com’s Power Ranking vote. The Week 8 results will be revealed Tuesday.
Where do the Oakland Raiders fit in?
They were No. 28 last week. They should rise this week after they thrashed Denver 59-14 on the road, using their backup quarterback, Jason Campbell. Oakland is now 3-4. I would think Oakland should cruise up the rankings at least five or six spots. You don’t win by 45 points on the road and not reap some benefits.
Denver, now 2-5, was No. 22. I bet the Broncos get some votes for No. 33 in a 32-team ranking. That was a brutal loss.
Where do you think Oakland and Denver should be ranked Tuesday after Oakland’s Week 7 Denver decimation? Post your thoughts in the comment section below.
