Original AFL teams to wear throwback unis in '09

Check out the AFC West teams' new uniforms -- well, for two games.

As part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the American Football League, all eight of the original teams will wear throwback AFL uniforms for two games in 2009.

The Raiders and Chargers will wear their AFL uniforms in their opening game -- Sept. 14 in Oakland. The game is the back end of an ESPN "Monday Night Football" game. Here is a photo of the throwback uniforms for all eight teams:
