The Kansas City Chiefs announced wide receiver Jeff Webb signed his restricted free agent tender. He is now under contract for the 2009 season.
There was really no drama here. The restricted free agency period is over and Webb stayed put. Thus, signing his tender was the only option he had.
Webb is expected to continue to be a role receiver for Kansas City. He has played in 31 games in three NFL seasons. He has started career three games. Webb has 36 career catches and he has returned 17 kick offs in his career.
