Denver

There are no big names on the Broncos' current defensive front three.

My take: Still, new Denver coach Josh McDaniels is pleased with the lineup of Kenny Peterson, Ryan McBean and Ronald Fields. McDaniels said the group has the makings of what Denver wants from its front three. Still, these journeymen will all have to take the next step in their careers if this unit has a chance of succeeding.

Kansas City

New Chiefs coach Todd Haley is feeling better about his offensive line.

My take: There are some interesting pieces there. Still, like the entire Kansas City team, the offensive line is a work in progress. That's why the team needs Pro Bowl guard Brian Waters back. He can help the youngsters out immensely.

Oakland

The Raiders could be a tenant in the 49ers' new stadium in Santa Clara.

My take: This would be a hard pill for some Raiders fans to swallow. Fans are very loyal to the city of Oakland. Watching the Raiders in the South Bay Area would be difficult for many fans. Still, the allure of a new stadium could ease some of the pain.
