Denver brings in a preseason arm

That didn't take long.
The Denver Broncos have signed quarterback Ingle Martin after learning that quarterback Chris Simms will be out two to four weeks with a high-ankle sprain.
Martin was brought in to help Denver in the preseason. He will probably play extensively in the final preseason game while starter Kyle Orton rests. Currently, Orton and rookie Tom Brandstater are the only available quarterbacks in Denver.
Martin has little chance of sticking around when Simms is healthy. Martin was previously cut by Kansas City.
