By the numbers: Best in West
By Bill Williamson
Here is a look at the division leaders in some key statistical categories after Week 7:
Player: Philip Rivers, San Diego
What does it mean: Rivers is coming off his worst game of a somewhat shaky season.
Player: Darren McFadden, Oakland
What does it mean: The injured running back dropped from No. 1 to No. 4 in the league in rushing in Week 7.
Player: Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City
What does it mean: Bowe is a big reason why the Chiefs have won three-straight games.
Player: Tyvon Branch, Oakland
What does it mean: Branch is collecting tackles in a hurry.
Player: Von Miller, Denver
What does it mean: Miller is on pace to set the NFL rookie sack record.
Player: Brandon Flowers, Kansas City
What does it mean: Flowers doubled his season interception total during a special day in Oakland. He played poorly there last season.
