Chiefs are up on Green Bay
By Bill Williamson
Are the Kansas City Chiefs going to derail history?
They are 30 minutes from it.
Kansas City is leading visiting Green Bay 6-0 at halftime. The Packers are 13-0.
Green Bay was totally flat in the first half as Aaron Rodgers had many passes dropped. The Chiefs actually could have a commanding lead. They have taken three trips to the red zone and have settled for just two field goals.
The Chiefs are playing very hard for interim head coach Romeo Crennel. He took over the team when Todd Haley was fired this past Monday. If the 5-8 Chiefs pull off this major upset, Crennel’s candidacy for the permanent job would rise significantly.
