Blacked in out in Oakland, but not San Diego

There was some television blackout news in the AFC West on Thursday. Oakland couldn’t sell out its home game against Denver on Sunday and thus the game will not be shown live in the Bay Area. San Diego did sell out the game against Miami and it will be shown locally.
The news about Oakland not selling out is a bit surprising because the Broncos are one of the Raiders’ most heated rivals. Plus, this is a big game for the Raiders. They are 1-1 and are coming off a last-minute win in Kansas City. Denver is 2-0 and if the Raiders beat Denver, they will be tied for first place in the division.
San Diego typically goes to the wire before finding a way to avoid a blackout. The same thing happened last week when San Diego opened its home slate against Baltimore.
