AFC West notes

Former Raiders defensive back Lester Hayes and former Chiefs defensive lineman Curly Culp are among the finalists for induction into the Hall of the Very Good. The Professional Football Researchers Association honors players who had outstanding careers, but who are not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The group will make its induction selections at the end of the year.
In an Insider piece, KC Joyner thinks Denver linebacker Von Miller is among the top young players to build around in the NFL. Miller is 10th on Joyner’s top 10 list.
The troubles of former Oakland star quarterback Ken Stabler are continuing.
