Three things: Raiders vs. Cardinals

By Bill Williamson

The following are three things to watch for during Oakland’s preseason game at Arizona on Friday. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET.

1. Carson Palmer: Palmer didn’t produce much at all in a dreadful 3-0 loss to Dallas on Monday night. Palmer suffered from some dropped passes, but he threw a bad interception and must continue to focus on his accuracy.

2. Rod Streater: The undrafted rookie, a star in organized team activities and in training camp, maintained the trend against Dallas, catching six passes. Can he continue his hot streak? If so, we could be seeing a regular-season contributor in the making.

3. Defense: Oakland’s first-team defense had some moments Monday night, but it did benefit from horrible execution by Dallas. Let’s see this unit -- a key to success in Oakland -- continue to make strides against the Cardinals.
