AFC West: Bob Lattinville

Rookie defensive end Stryker Sulak -- who entered the national NFL spotlight with his bizarre release by the Oakland Raiders earlier this month -- is garnering interest elsewhere.

Sulak visited the New England Patriots on Monday. He is expected to visit the Carolina Panthers on Friday. His agent, Bob Lattinville, said there has been other interest around the league in the former Missouri sack artist. He may be most attractive to teams that run a 3-4 defense.

Sulak was cut two weeks ago by the Raiders without any warning after he participated in the offseason. He was the team's sixth-round draft pick. It is rare that teams cut draft picks prior to training camp. Sulak was cut before he signed a contract with the Raiders and is now essentially an undrafted college free agent looking for work.

The Raiders reportedly cut Sulak because they didn't think he would make their roster due to their depth at defensive end. Because nearly every NFL team is at the roster limit, Sulak may have to wait for a short time before being signed.
