The Kansas City Chiefs’ secondary is getting some much-needed relief.

It appears Brandon Flowers will play at Buffalo on Sunday. Flowers practiced fully for the first time since July 31 when he suffered a foot injury. This has to be a sign Flowers could see some action against Buffalo. He was limited all last week, but he did not play in a 40-24 loss to Atlanta.

In other AFC West news:
  • The San Diego Chargers received a 24-year hour extensions to sell out Qualcomm Stadium and avoid a local television blackout Sunday against Tennessee. The game must be proclaimed a sell-out by 3:25 p.m. ET Friday to avoid the blackout. The team has to sell about 2,1-00 tickets to sell-out the game.
  • Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain (ankle) and running back Taiwan Jones (ribs) were both limited in practice Thursday after they were both held out Wednesday. That is a sign they're both on pace to play Sunday at Miami.
  • Oakland long snapper Jon Condo is still out of practice. He has to be cleared after suffering a concussion Monday night. If Condo can’t play Sunday, the Raiders plan to promote the newly signed Nick Guess from the practice squad.
  • Denver nickel cornerback Chris Harris did not practice Thursday with an ankle injury he suffered against Pittsburgh. The Broncos would miss Harris if he can’t play against the pass-happy Falcons on Monday night. He’d be replaced by Tony Carter.
  • Denver receiver Demaryius Thomas talks about life with Peyton Manning in a radio interview.
