ESPN’s playoff predicator believes San Diego will emerge from the tight AFC West scrum and make the playoffs with an 8-8 record. But it’s clearly not convinced. The predictor has the Chargers’ playoff chances at just 36.2 percent.
Last week, when the Raiders, Chiefs and Chargers were tied for first place at 4-3 (they are now all tied for first at 4-4), the predictor gave the Chiefs the edge. Expect more twists and turns as this race goes down the stretch.
