ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Broncos are close to signing defensive tackle Terrance Knighton. He’d reunite with Denver defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, who was his head coach with the Jaguars.
Knighton is a strong run-stuffer and would fit well with Kevin Vickerson, who was re-signed Tuesday. If the Broncos do sign Knighton, they might look to fill other needs with the No. 28 pick in the draft.
Meanwhile, the Denver Post reported that the Broncos have interest in Detroit safety Louis Delmas, who was visiting the Rams.
