As expected, starting San Diego Chargers' receivers Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee (hamstrings and tight end Antonio Gates (foot) did not practice. Only Gates has a chance to play at Houston on Sunday, but he is no sure thing.
Kicker Nate Kaeding appears he will be out for the third straight game with a groin injury and he will be replaced by Kris Brown. Kaeding could be back after next week’s bye. Guard Kris Dielman practiced fully Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with a neck injury.
Kansas City receiver/returner/rusher Dexter McCluster continued to be limited Thursday with an ankle injury. He did not play Sunday because of the injury.
