At an emotional press conference in which he tearfully bid goodbye to San Diego, former Chargers LaDainian Tomlinson made one final move that will forever keep him in the hearts of Chargers fans.
He won’t wear Silver and Black.
Asked to reassure fans that his next NFL stop won’t be Oakland, the San Diego legend made it clear he won’t be a Raider. To be fair to Oakland, the Raiders don’t need Tomlinson, but his answer showed just how deep his love for San Diego runs.
Meanwhile, former San Diego quarterback Drew Brees is interested in reuniting with Tomlinson in New Orleans. The two players were drafted to play in San Diego in 2001 and they remain close friends.
