TEMPE, Ariz. -- Carolina Panthers right guard Chris Scott was a good roommate at the University of Tennessee.

He paid his rent on time, wasn't messy and kept quiet. Just the type of person Arizona Cardinals nose tackle Dan Williams wanted to live with during his junior and senior seasons as a Volunteer.

On Sunday, the two will face each other for the first time since practice in Knoxville.

"I think it'll be good," Williams said. "Good, nice little competition. I'm definitely looking forward to it. He's a good dude. Definitely a good dude. We still keep in contact. We haven't talked this week yet. He's definitely a good dude, man. That's definitely like my brother. I love Chris to death.

"It's definitely going to be interesting."

Williams, who returns to the field after missing two weeks because of his father's death, said there'll be plenty of trash talking about living together and being teammates, but there's more than a win or a loss at stake for these two.

"A lot of bragging rights," Williams said. "When I see him at the spring game in April, we can tell who won. Who got the best of each other."
