Flush the Pocket will be your daily morning dose of the Arizona Cardinals. It'll recap the top storyline from the previous day and give you a look at what everyone is saying locally and nationally.

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Bruce Arians said they're coming.

It didn't take long for the national media to begin turning their attention to the West in the wake of Arizona's 40-11 demolition of the Indianapolis Colts. Before their fourth win in a row, the Cardinals garnered some national attention during their streak. Carson Palmer was on "NFL Live." Darnell Dockett was on another show.

A few national websites, like NFL.com, joined in on the fun last week with stories about the Cardinals and their run.

On Monday morning, however, a fresh wave of national attention came flying toward the Cardinals.

NFL.com's Michael Silver wrote about the Cardinals late Sunday night and then CBS Sports.com's Pete Prisco added to the attention Monday.

While Arians doesn't want the attention, I wrote Sunday he brought it upon himself by leading this team to a 7-4 record and the brink of the playoffs. And, now, this is what he gets.

In other news...

Bob McManaman of AZCentral.com writes that the best has yet to come for the Cards.

Craig Morgan of FoxSportsArizona.com talks about the weekend that was in football around Arizona.

Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com writes about the Cardinals offense improving for the long haul.
