Flush the Pocket will be your daily morning dose of the Arizona Cardinals. It’ll recap the top storyline from the previous day and give you a look at what everyone is saying locally and nationally.

They may be old, but they’re feisty.

The Wall Street Journal wrote about the Arizona Cardinals’ “Over the Hill Gang” on Monday, delving into the hiring of 75-year-old Tom Moore and 78-year-old Tom Pratt by then-60-year-old head coach Bruce Arians.

Every day, the septuagenarians prove they’re not ready for retirement. As Kevin Clark wrote, they’re usually outworking their younger coaching counterparts.

It’s a fun and interesting read on these guys. Take a read here.

In other news ...

ESPN writes about Eagles CB Cary Williams telling Arians to “… not be crybabies.”

Kent Somers of AZCentral.com writes about the Cardinals not controlling their own destiny.

Chris Wesseling of NFL.com has Tyrann Mathieu as his defensive rookie of the year heading into December.

Kyle Odegard of AZCardinals.com goes around the NFC West.
