TEMPE, Ariz. -- It’s not surprising that ESPN’s NFL draft guru Mel Kiper Jr., dropped the Arizona Cardinals' 2013 draft grade when he re-evaluated them on Thursday.

Kiper initially gave the Cardinals a B for their 2013 draft class, but nine months later, it dropped to a B-.

You can read why here Insider, but it’s an ESPN Insider story, so don’t forget to sign up.

Arizona’s draft class was decimated by injuries last season. The Cards lost first-round pick Jonathan Cooper for the year during the preseason, third-round pick Tyrann Mathieu's season ended in Week 13 and fourth-round pick Alex Okafor went down in Week 3. Before any of that happened, sixth-round pick Ryan Swope suffered a career-ending concussion during OTAs and minicamp.
