History Lesson: NOLA isn't Easy for Cards

September, 21, 2013
Heading to the Big Easy has been anything but for the Arizona Cardinals, who have lost their last three in New Orleans.

Series: Cardinals lead 14-12.

Last game: Oct. 10, 2010 -- Cardinals 30, Saints 20.

First game: Dec. 3, 1967 -- Cardinals 31, Saints 20.

Streaks: Cardinals have lost three of last five meetings.

Cardinals in New Orleans: 4-6.

Since … playing in the Big Easy in 1996 and 1997, the Cardinals have traveled to the Bayou just twice, losing in both 2007 and in the 2010 playoffs.

You should know: Three of the Cardinals' oldest coaches -- assistants Tom Moore and Tom Pratt and head man Bruce Arians -- all coached for the Saints at one point in their careers.
