White said he simply bruised his left knee in last Sunday's 22-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers. It caused him to be limited in practice this week.
"I fell the other day. Well, I didn't fall … I got pushed out of bounds and I landed right on it," White explained. "And it swelled up a little bit. But I'm good to go. I'm fine."
White recently returned to his usual form after battling ankle and hamstring injuries for a good part of the season. At the time of his latest injury, he didn't fear the worst.
"I didn't realize it until I got back to the locker room," White said. "It stiffened up on me. So when I got back to the locker room after the game, I told [the trainer], 'My knee feels stiff.' So I just kind of bruised it on that ground.
"That ground was hard and it was cold, I'll tell you that."
White said the knee shouldn't hold him back as he prepares to face the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
"No, no, it's not going to," White said. "Yeah, I'll be able to play (fast). No doubt about it."
Linebacker Paul Worrilow (shoulder) is probable and had full participation in Friday's practice.
In Washington, tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) is questionable while four players are probable: guard Kory Lichtensteiger (stringer), safety Brandon Meriweather (chest), safety Trenton Robinson (ankle), and fullback Darrel Young (hamstring).
