Atlanta Falcons: 2013 performance pay

The NFL Management Council shared each club's performance-based pay distributions for the 2013 season Monday.

Performance-based pay divides a pool of $3.46 million for each team and each player receives a share. The payments for each player are determined by playing time and a player’s salary.

It’s no surprise that undrafted rookie linebacker Joplo Bartu and Paul Worrilow, who became regular starters, top the team in performance-based pay. Bartu earned an extra $262,927.41 while starting 13 games while Worrilow earned $254,761.26 after starting 12 games.

Both Bartu and Worrilow had based salaries of $405,000 last season.

According the NFL, the performance-based payment will be made on April 1, 2016.
