Where Ravens stand in AFC playoff picture

BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens' last-minute comeback in a 29-26 win over the Minnesota Vikings allowed them to hold onto the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC.

Not much has changed for the Ravens after the results of the early afternoon games. The Ravens (7-6) still have the same record as the Miami Dolphins (7-6), who won at Pittsburgh, but Baltimore owns the tiebreaker after beating them in Week 5. Baltimore also remains two games back of the AFC North-leading Cincinnati Bengals (9-4), who beat the Indianapolis Colts.

As a result of the Dolphins winning at Pittsburgh, the Ravens increased their lead over the Steelers (5-8) by two games with three weeks remaining. This should essentially eliminate Pittsburgh from the wild-card race.
