The Baltimore Ravens' biggest disappointment this season is obviously not getting to the playoffs and getting a chance to defend their Super Bowl title. But what do you think was the biggest reason why Ravens failed to get to the postseason?
The three major problems for the Ravens this season was Joe Flacco's interceptions, the struggles of the running game and the fourth-quarter collapses by the defense.
Flacco threw a career-worst 22 interceptions, which set a Ravens record and were tied for second-most in the NFL (only Eli Manning had more). Three of those interceptions were returned for touchdowns.
The Ravens' running game was the worst in team history. Baltimore averaged 83 yards rushing per game, which was 15 yards per game less than any other team in Ravens history. The per-carry averages for Ray Rice (3.1) and Bernard Pierce (2.9) were among the four lowest in the NFL.
The Ravens' defense allowed a franchise-worst 134 points in the fourth quarter. Baltimore allowed six drives that put the other team ahead in the fourth quarter, including a 90-yard one in a season-ending loss in Cincinnati.
