Ravens' salary-cap update

The Baltimore Ravens now have $15.9 million in salary-cap room after signing outside linebacker Terrell Suggs to a four-year extension.

The Ravens created $4.6 million in cap room by lowering Suggs' cap number from $12.4 million to $7.8 million. Baltimore has 46 players currently under contract.

Here are the top 10 salary-cap numbers for the Ravens:

DT Haloti Ngata: $16 million

QB Joe Flacco: $14.8M

CB Lardarius Webb: $10.5M

RB Ray Rice: $8.75 million

OL Marshal Yanda: $8.45M

LB Terrell Suggs: $7.8M

LB Jameel McClain: $4.4M

LB Elvis Dumervil: $3.3M

DL Chris Canty: $3.1M

P Sam Koch: $2.8M

The top candidates for being salary-cap cuts are McClain ($3.2 million in cap savings), Koch ($1.6 million) and fullback Vonta Leach ($1.75 million).

The Ravens' unrestricted free agents are: TE Dallas Clark, DT Terrence Cody, TE Ed Dickson, CB Corey Graham, DL Arthur Jones, WR Jacoby Jones, S James Ihedigbo, S Jeromy Miles, OT Eugene Monroe, OT Michael Oher, TE Dennis Pitta, RB Bernard Scott, LB Daryl Smith and WR Brandon Stokley (retiring).

Their restricted free agents are: WR Tandon Doss and LB Albert McClellan.

Their exclusive-rights free agents are: S Omar Brown, LB Josh Bynes, LB D.J. Bryant, LB Adrian Hamilton, S Anthony Levine and S Brynden Trawick.
