File this under the "disrespected" category, but this is the first time the Ravens have moved up in the Power Rankings this season. I actually had to check this a couple of times to make sure this was correct. The Ravens remained in the same spot after their two previous wins this season (over the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans).
There was no staying put this week for the defending Super Bowl champions. The Ravens jumped five spots after beating the then-No. 7 Miami Dolphins on the road. This marks the first time the Ravens are in the top 10 since Week 1.
As one of six voters on the Power Rankings, I also had the Ravens (3-2) at No. 9. In the ESPN.com Power Rankings, there are only two teams with two losses ranked higher than the Ravens: the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals.
As far as the rest of AFC North goes, the Browns moved up four spots to No. 16 and the winless Pittsburgh Steelers remained at No. 29 on their bye week.
