Wake-up caw: Not much dancing for Jones

By Jamison Hensley

Let's just say there hasn't been much reason for Jacoby Jones to show off his moves since being on "Dancing With The Stars" earlier this season.

A Pro Bowl returner for the Super Bowl champions last season, he led the NFL with a 30.7-yard average on kickoffs and ran two back for touchdowns in the regular season. This year, he is averaging 23.7 yards and ranks 13th in the league.

"All you can do is be patient," Jones told The Baltimore Sun. "When it's time to make a play and they call your number, you got to step up and make it. That's all part of being a pro. You've got to keep the faith, knowing that your play is going to come at the right time. We've always been close. It's just the rhythm of the game and the timing. We're going to make those plays. They're going to happen in due time."

Guess no one with the Ravens is laughing anymore at the "Dancing With The Stars" jinx.

Here's the rest of your wake-up caw ...
