Wake-up caw: Eric Ebron to visit Ravens

North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron is scheduled to visit the Baltimore Ravens prior to the NFL draft, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Getting the draft's top tight end at No. 17 would be a great value for the Ravens. But will Ebron fall that far in the first round?

In their latest mock drafts, Mel Kiper Insider has Ebron going to the New York Giants at No. 12, but Todd McShay has him getting picked by the Green Bay Packers at No. 21.

After a strong showing at the NFL combine last month, ESPN's John Clayton projected Ebron as a top-15 prospect. The only time the Ravens have taken a tight end in the first round was Todd Heap in 2001.
