Oklahoma redshirt freshman wide receiver Corey Wilson's condition at OU Medical Center has been upgraded to serious from critical, according to the Oklahoman.

Wilson was injured in a two-car accident on Interstate 35 Friday afternoon about 35 miles southwest of Norman, Okla.

His vehicle collided with a pickup, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers told the Oklahoman. Wilson, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident was thrown 45 feet from his SUV.

Wilson's family told the Oklahoman in a statement that their son is awake and conscious.

Wilson is the younger brother of former Oklahoma wide receiver Travis Wilson.

His condition for recovery still remains a long, arduous one. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
