Texas A&M players will be on-hand Friday night at Veterans Park in College Station to kick off a 24-hour flag football game to help child slaves in Ghana.
The Aggies will serve as guest coaches and select the first plays of the game for each team. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Friday and the game would break a Guinness World Record after it finishes on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Mercy Project, a Texas-based non-profit organization, hopes to raise money for slaves in Ghana during the event, as well as raise awareness for the plight of child slavery around the world.
