Report: Missouri, SEC reach informal deal

The Birmingham News corroborated an earlier report in the Kansas City Star stating that Missouri and the SEC had reached an informal agreement that would allow the Tigers to become the league's 14th member.

After the Star report surfaced, the SEC released a statement that the only Texas A&M had been invited to join the league.
