The Big 12 will receive its first live appearance by ESPN's College GameDay this weekend when the show travels to Austin to spotlight the Texas-Texas Tech game.
It will mark the second straight season the show has broadcast live from the Texas-Texas Tech game and the third time in five seasons.
The show will broadcast live from an undisclosed location on the Texas campus, beginning at 10 a.m. ET Saturday. More information about how fans can attend the show will be released later this week.
And Saturday's 8 p.m. ET game at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium will be the conference's first national broadcast in ABC-TV's prime-time Saturday game this season.
The two teams have had a wild rivalry over the years and Saturday's matchup between Mike Leach and Mack Brown should be a good one. The Big 12's first conference game is deserving of this national spotlight.
