Iowa State linebacker Jake Knott dislocated his shoulder twice in last week's loss to Baylor.
Both times, he popped it back in and remained in the game.
He hasn't practiced in two weeks because of various injuries, and he spent much of this week with his shoulder in a sling.
"I worry about what he’s going to feel like when he’s my age," Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads said this week. "He is always going to put himself in that situation because he plays the game the right way. He plays it so hard. You can win a lot of football games with the Jake Knott’s of this world."
Today's 52-17 loss to Missouri wasn't pretty, but Knott was back in the game doing the dirty work. And he did a lot.
He finished with four tackles, a forced fumble and an interception.
