COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- If you were looking for the Longhorns and Aggies war of words to extend to the bands, halftime would have left you disappointed.

Texas' band closed its halftime performance by playing "Thanks for the Memories" while forming a "Thanks aTm" message at midfield.

Texas A&M's band followed by forming the Longhorns' logo and then sawing off the horns as part of its formation.

Hardly anything headline worthy, but the halftime show was lacking in drama.
