Way Backs aren't kind to the Longhorns today

Something tells me that the notable games played on Sept. 13 won't bring back many fond memories for Texas fans.
Here they are -- two rare low points in the modern-day history of Texas football.
Sept. 13, 1997 -- UCLA 66, No. 11 Texas 3 (Austin, Texas): Cade McNown passed for 202 yards and a school-record five TD passes to spark the Bruins' victory -- the worst-ever home defeat in Texas history and the worst loss for a ranked team in the 61-year history of the Associated Press poll to that time. The Longhorns struggled with eight turnovers and seven sacks in a performance that prompted a classic lead paragraph by Austin American-Statesman columnist Kirk Bohls the following morning: "At least the band kept playing."
Sept. 13, 2003 -- Arkansas 38, No. 6 Texas 28 (Austin, Texas): Houston Nutt's team barrelled into Austin, piling up 265 yards rushing as the Longhorns couldn't stop TB Cedric Cobbs (115 rushing yards, one TD) or QB Matt Jones (102 rushing yards, one TD). The victory snapped the Longhorns' 20-game home winning streak.
