It's raining in Waco, but Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III doesn't seem to care.
Texas was the only team in the FBS that hadn't given up a touchdown pass longer than 20 yards all season.
Not anymore. RG3 happened.
Griffin hit Kendall Wright for a 59-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage, when Wright outran Texas' defense. He hit Wright for 48 more on the next drive.
Baylor leads, 14-0, in the first quarter, after Terrance Ganaway scored from 20 yards out.
That didn't take long, and Baylor's an aggressive offense. They'll be going back for more. We'll see if they get it.
Griffin needed a big day today if he was going to earn a few more Heisman votes, and so far, he's getting it.
