Nice chat this week. Here's the full transcript.

And here's where you can send me mail if you want to make the blog with a better comment or question.
Shawn Powers (Florida): What do you think the Big 12 record will be in bowls?

David Ubben: Like last year, an 8-0 record is possible. The Big 12 fell to 4-4 though. 6-2 seems likely this year.

Tommy (Dallas): I know you are not a recruiting expert, but how much do you see Baylor's rise and more importantly RG3's Heisman Trophy, improving recruiting for the Bears?

David Ubben: I mean, it can't hurt. You look at Baylor's recruiting, and coach Art Briles has done a great job of getting guys the Bears normally wouldn't sniff. RG3 was a big part of that. He's a great recruiter and a great ambassador for the school. Even after he leaves, it'll continue to get better. Program's on the rise.

Mr. Pants (Houston, Texas): If RG3 leaves, how do you think Nick Florance will do? Does Baylor have any other QB prospects that could make an impact next year?

David Ubben: Florence is due for a good year or two, depending on whether he keeps his redshirt from this year. Baylor seemed to believe he would. I'm not 100 percent sure. He learned from those experiences in 2009 and Baylor's got a couple guys they may bring in for 2013 in recruiting that would have a year on the bench behind Florence.

Scott (Kansas): Is OSU sucess is football going to help in recruiting this year?

David Ubben: Hasn't quite shown up this year, though the class is solid. They've had some guys decommit, but the big dividends, OSU would hope, will pay off in 2013.

Dave (Norman): What is going on with all the players leaving OU?

David Ubben: I don't know for sure. This is well above normal attrition. Definitely troubling. Definitely something to be seriously concerned about. Could be a cleanse of guys that shouldn't be in the program, but they're going to be very low on depth next year.

Ryan (Ohio): Who's rant was more epic: Mike Gundy's "I'm a man, I'm 40!" or this year's Coastal Carolina "Dogs and Cats" rant?

David Ubben: I'm so tired of the Gundy rant. Maybe it's because I deal with him a lot during the season, but it's not really funny or that relevant anymore. What else is new? The Dogs and Cats rant, even though the coach is fired, still cracks me up. Making faces and doing voices always earns you points.

Tommy (Dallas): Good article today on the Gundy contract situation. If they continue to putz around and don't give him a new contract by next year then what are the chances another program gives him the contract he deserves? What would that do to that program?

David Ubben: Yeah, I enjoyed that. This is one of the most noteworthy coaching contract deals I've seen in awhile. The fact of the matter is, Gundy's proven himself a fantastic coach and one that sees OSU as a destination job. He's pretty young, too. I don't think you can compare it to Iowa State, but if you're willing to sign up Travis Ford for 10 years, why not Gundy? That's baffling. Pay the man whatever he wants for however long he wants.

Joe (Joplin): Best matchup in the Fiesta Bowl?

David Ubben: OSU secondary vs. Stanford's pass-catchers. Expect Stanford to look to bruise, but it'll be interesting to see how the Pokes match up against a team that's efficient, but not very speedy or explosive.
