The unofficial "Big East-Big 12 Challenge" continues Wednesday when Kansas State travels to Louisville. Here's my pick:

Kansas State 27, Louisville 24: Josh Freeman has been playing like one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the nation so far. The Wildcats haven't been tested yet, but should prevail over a Louisville team that isn't to the level it was when challenging for a BCS bowl several years ago under Bobby Petrino. The Wildcats aren't intimidated by hostile environments, as they upset Texas on the road and played Auburn strongly as well last season. The difference tonight will be Kansas State's knack for making big plays on special teams and an underrated Kansas State defense that will harass Louisville QB Hunter Cantwell.

  • My picks last week: 8-0 (100 percent).
  • My picks for the season: 31-1 (96.9 percent).
