Franklin's TD provides huge Arkansas surge

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arkansas' defense has seized momentum with a huge turnover.

Texas A&M was marching to a go-ahead touchdown when Jerrod Johnson's fumble was returned 85 yards by Arkansas linebacker Jerry Franklin for a touchdown.

Franklin's long return has boosted the Razorbacks to a 21-10 lead.

Johnson appeared to be battling for extra yardage at the Arkansas 15 when the ball was knocked loose. Franklin picked up the fumble and raced untouched down the right sideline for a touchdown.

Texas A&M challenged the play, but replays were inconclusive. It came on Texas A&M's first turnover of the season.

Arkansas' defense is doing a good job of pressuring Johnson after some he had some early success. After hitting five of his first seven passes, Johnson has completed only two of his last nine. He's got to return to his earlier form if the Aggies have any hopes of a comeback.
