COLUMBIA, Mo. -- After being harried early in the game, Blaine Gabbert's protection has been more impressive as the game has continued.
Gabbert is limping noticeably when he leaves the field, but it doesn't look like the injury is affecting him between the lines. I've been impressed with his toughness and the way he's remained steadfast in the pocket after the early problems.
The game is pretty even so far with 86 yards for Nebraska and 85 for Missouri late in the second quarter. We've had almost as many punts (10) as we've had first downs (12).
Defense and special teams have dominated this game.
What is this: A Southeastern Conference game or something?
