The Rimington Trophy, given annually to college football's best center, has named its 50-man watch list. Four players from the Big 12 made the cut.
The Big 12 had the fewest of all the major conferences. Every other conference had at least five players on the list.

Dominic Raiola of Nebraska was the only Big 12 player to ever win the award, but players from two new Big 12 schools have also taken home the award.

TCU's Jake Kirkpatrick won the award in 2010. West Virginia's Dan Mozes won the award in 2006. Michigan's David Molk won the award last season.
